Designed in Bozeman by the legendary Bode Miller, the Peak 104 by Bode is a freeride all-mountain ski that doesn’t flinch when things get rowdy. It’s wide enough for real snow days, built to blast through variable conditions, and still manages to feel composed when the terrain tightens up. If you want a ski that can hang on bell-to-bell storm days without sacrificing edge feel, this is it.

Why we like it:

It rips with the force of a metal charger but somehow stays smooth and accommodating, even when you’re not skiing at full tilt.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who want a confidence-inspiring ski for chop, trees, bowls, and steep lines, but who don’t want to give up groomer performance to get it.

Highlights:

The Peak 104 shares the same construction DNA as its narrower siblings: a Paulownia and Ash wood core, full sidewall construction, and two sheets of Titanal for power and damping. Peak’s proprietary KeyHole Technology strategically relieves metal from the center of the ski to enable easier turn initiation and a more balanced flex. The result is a wide, directional ski that carves on edge like something far narrower, yet can float, slash, and charge when the snow gets deep.

Things to consider:

These aren’t the lightest skis on the market, and that’s the point. If you prioritize featherweight touring gear or ultra-soft flexes, look elsewhere. But if you’re seeking the stability of heavier metal-laminate skis, you’ll feel right at home here. That said, the Peak 104 is impressively forgiving and responds well to a lighter touch, with a huge sweet spot that keeps things enjoyable even when you’re off your game.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The 104 skis true to size. Most skiers should stick with their usual all-mountain or freeride length unless prioritizing tight maneuverability.
