This 4-day, 3-night course introduces the survival mindset by blending the essentials of your kit with skills for creating useful items from the natural landscape. You’ll learn how to supplement or replace expendable gear with what nature provides, giving you the confidence to be better prepared in an emergency—or simply to enrich your camping experience.

You must purchase a Florida Freshwater Fishing License to attend class.

Vehicles will be left at the secured rest stop mentioned below. From there, we will travel in groups by boat to the island, which is a 45-minute journey from the ramp
