Extra Pale Malt - 1kg - Warminster Maltings

Extra Pale Malt is barley that has been kilned more gently and so creating a beer that has less malty flavour and lighter colour.  Extra Pale Malt is great when making craft beers with a strong hop flavour as the extra pale malt does not have so much of a malty flavour, so allows the hop flavours to really push through.

Use Extra pale malt as a base malt for Pale Ales, IPA, Blondes, Lagers and golden ales to give the majority of sugar to your wort. Great when used on it's own for making Pale Ales and IPA's. 

This Extra Pale Malt Barley is malted by Warminster Maltings using traditional floor malting methods with the barley sourced from some of the best barley growers in the UK, to make a top quality extra pale malt barley

Add other grains to your base malt mash to add flavour and texture to make a huge variety of beers including wheat beer, Pale Ale, New England IPA, sour and saison to name a few.

Order as many kg as you need.  Normally 1 kg of extra pale malt in 4.5 litres (1 gallon) of water will give an approx. ABV of 5%.
