Hedyotis Salzmannii, also known as Oldenlandia Salzmannii, is a vibrant green aquatic stem plant that is relatively easy to care for and great for midground placement in planted aquariums. Hedyotis Salzmannii is smaller in size and provides a delicate look, adding textural interest and character to planted tanks. It is similar in appearance to Bacopa varieties and grows in a creeping manner. When properly cared for, Hedyotis Salzmannii is a relatively quick grower and can be manicured into compact bushes. When grown emersed, its leaves are rounder, chubbier and work well for paludariums and Wabi Kusa displays. The plant will produce white to light purple flowers from time to time.
