Slash Splash Junior Snowboard

Turning is the root of all riding, and youngsters are the seeds of all snowboarding. The Slash Splash provides a splash of water and light so that seedling’s turns can take hold. The board’s soft flexing bi-axial fiberglass and wood core helps initiate easy arcs and encourages proper foot control. Its mid-sidecut Traction Bump helps maintain edge hold from first turns to fast fall line riding. The twin tip shape offers a bed where freestyle moves can grow, and its rockered tips help reduce edge-catch. The Splash’s durable, maintenance-free base and tough wood core can take on seasons to come once the young rider is planted on this board.

Features

• Bi-Ax Fiberglass: Bi-ax Fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running every 90-degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex and highly versatile for all terrain types.
• Pop Woodcore: Built with poplar and bolstered with beech and spruce stringers. Beech hardwood strips are laid through the inserts from tip to tail for power transfer and a sturdy frame. The spruce from tip to tail just outside the inserts adds increased pop and precision.
• Progressive Sidecut: Our progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.
• Ultimate Traction: This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.
• Belt Finish: The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed.
• Factory Waxed: All Slash boards are factory waxed with One-Ball Jay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
