Neptune Systems AquaController Apex Energy Bar Expansion Module boasts numerous safety features including a programmable failsafe state. Configure each Energy Bar outlet to be either in an OFF or ON state to address power failure or communication failure with the Apex base unit according to your preference. Soft-Start feature slowly brings pumps, wavemakers and other aquarium equipment to full power to prevent harsh and damaging ON/OFF cycles. Built-in sensor monitors overall power consumption and continually sends this information to your Apex controller for invaluable power utilization data. Energy Bar 4 features 4 independently controllable 120V Outlets (3 outlets @ 8 Amps, 1 outlet @ 12 Amps, total current must be less than 15 Amps) and 4 built-in AquaBus Connection ports. Up to 240 EnergyBar4 modules can be connected together for up to 960 switched outlets on a single AquaBus. EnergyBar 4 measures 7.25" x 3.75" x 1.8" high.

Energy Bar 8 features 8 independently controllable 120V Outlets (6 outlets @ 5 Amps, 2 outlets @ 10 Amps, total current must be less than 15 Amps) and 6 built-in AquaBus Connection ports.
