NRS - Photic Knife

The NRS Photic Knife is designed for paddlers, anglers, and campers who want a capable everyday carry blade that transitions as naturally from the river to the trail as it does from a PFD pocket to a pair of pants. The four-position pocket clip handles all of it, giving you flexibility in how and where you carry. The stainless steel blade is built for freshwater use and features a partially serrated edge with reverse scallop serrations that make quick work of rope, webbing, and tough fibres when a clean cut matters most.

One-handed and gloved operation is clearly a priority in the design. An oversized thumb cutout lets you open the blade single-handed, and the grip area is sized to accommodate thick paddling gloves in cold conditions. Jimping along the top of the blade spine keeps your thumb anchored and prevents slipping under pressure. The liner-lock mechanism secures the blade reliably in both the open and closed positions, and the lightweight G10 handle is textured for grip and tough enough to handle real use in all weather. A lanyard hole and carabiner-compatible thumb cutout round out the carry options.
