RBW - Coureur Single Canoe Pack

For canoe trippers who want a pack that earns its keep on the portage trail without overcomplicating things, the Coureur delivers a lot of well-thought-out function in a classic rectangular shape.

At 52 litres, the Coureur sits low and flat in the canoe, keeping your centre of gravity where it belongs. The 1000-denier nylon construction is genuinely tough, and 2-inch webbing runs down both sides and along the bottom so the load connects cleanly to a tumpline. A thick back panel combining 3/4-inch reticulated foam over 1/2-inch dense EVA foam means the contents of your pack aren't telegraphing through to your back on a long carry. Three hi-visibility grab handles make loading and unloading from a canoe fast and sure-handed, even in awkward conditions.

The lid system uses three quick-release compression straps over an expandable drawstring attic cuff, giving you extra volume when you need it and two yellow compression straps underneath to keep the load cinched down. Daisy chains along both sides add lash points for extra gear, and the quick-release buckle system means multiple Coureur packs can be clipped together into a multi-section pack for fast assembly on the trail. A 20L or 30L RBW barrel fits inside, and the pack doubles as a sled bag in winter.
