Featuring Left-Hand (LH) threads on both sides, it is designed to prevent accidental cross-connection with standard right-hand plumbing. Technician's Installation Tip: Left-hand threads are tightened by turning counter-clockwise. Look for the small "notches" on the hex-nut portion of the fitting; these are the universal symbol for LH threads.
