Three Waves ear protection loss protection consists of a 0.8 mm thin, very tear-resistant, black PES cord, each with two specially shaped plastic retentions (1), which are completely incorporated into the still soft, non-cross-linked silicone material during the production of the ear protection. 

After the networking of the silicone compound has been completed, the two EPDM rubber washers (2), which are already pre-assembled on the cord, are pushed as far as damage protection by pulling the cord up to the ear protection surface and thus prevent the silicone plug from fraying and tearing out. Finished! Both earplugs are now permanently connected to each other with the approx. 42 cm long cord and in this way secure each other.

The safety cord is optionally ordered with the manufacturing kit of our ear protection if the loss protection seems important. Some people have less pronounced undercuts in which our ear protection does not hold perfectly, etc. The safety cord can also be reused for later replacement ear protection. Simply work out of the old ear protection and reuse it for the new mass.
